Hello everyone, we had a partly cloudy today, at this moment (5:15pm)it is cloudy, satellite indicates that there are some thunderstorms approaching from the west, it seems that we are going to have hard rain in the next few hours. This is caused by the influence of a low pressure from the pacific and crossing the gulf of Mexico and moving mostly to the west of the Yucatan Peninsula and will affect the Florida panhandle on the next 24 hours as well. For tomorrow we expect a partly cloudy sky and some thunderstorms mainly in the afternoon.

We are having a beautiful day, partly cloudy and long periods of sun, a temperature of 30°C. There is a 30% chance of scattered showers in the late afternoon, nothing to worry about for the sun worshipers. We expect a partly cloudy night and a temperature of 23°C.

Cancun weather tonight

After a couple days of rain finally today we had some sun, the sky this afternoon is partly cloudy and a temperature of 28°F. We could have scattered showers later tonight, isolated showers are expected for tomorrow and long periods of sun.

TS Isaac and Mexico

Tropical storm is heading to continental United States, it was located this morning at 360 miles of the mouth of the Mississippi River and could gain strenght of category one hurricane in the next 18 hours, interests in the states of Louisiana should monitor this storm very close. Due to its distance and present movement, Isaac does not represent a threat for Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.

TS Isaac update

Tropical storm Isaac is over the eastern tip of Cuba where must pass tonight and approach to the florida Peninsula tomorrow. The storm has potential to become a category one hurricane so all interests in Florida and Alabama must monitor Isaac very close. A hurricane warning has been issued for the Florida Keys, Dry Tortugas, the west coast of Florida from Bonita Beach southward to Ocean Reef. No danger for Mexico and no warnings has been issued for the Yucatan Peninsula.

TS Isaac update

Tropical storm Isaac approaching Hispaniola, it was located this morning at 185 SSE of Port Au Prince, Haiti. As it was expected it is moving WNW at 14mph. Tropical storm warnings was issued for Dominican Republic, Eastern Cuba and the Bahamas. All forecasts indicates that Isaac will not be a danger for Mexico but the blue alert for the state of Quintana Roo remains, such alert means minimal risk. We are having a mostly sunny morning although we could have scattered showers in the afternoon.
